DescriptionCard tables were normally made in pairs, but the whereabout of this one's mate is not known. This card table once belonged to Sir James Monk (1745-1826), who held numerous public offices, including Attorney-General of Lower Canada and Chief Justice of the Court of King's Bench for Montreal.
