DescriptionModel of a house. Little is known about house architecture during the Predynastic Period, since very few settlements have been found. This model appears to represent a small building made of materials such as plant stalks plastered with mud. It has a smoke hole in the roof. The walls and roof are decorated with incised and red-painted animals and other subjects. Baked clay, painted.
