DescriptionThis fragment from the 11th Dynasty temple of Nebhepetre Montuhotep shows the bottom of a sail, the head of a sailor, and unidentified object, painted red and yellow,  behind him. More ship's rigging can be seen at far right.
Though part of a naval scene, it is not possible to determine to which specific kind of scene (boat procession, trading, warfare) this piece belonged.
