DescriptionThis fragment from the 11th dynasty temple of Nebhepetre Montuhotep at Deir el Bahari shows the profile of a man facing left. The black paint of his hair has flaked off, but the red paint of his skin is well preserved. The original location and function of the piece in the temple's decoration has not been determined.
