DescriptionThis fragment from the 11th Dynasty temple of Nebhepetre Montuhotep shows part of a naval battle.  The scene is composed of 910.34.111, 910.34.116, and 910.34.117.  Together they show that a sailor has fallen overboard; his head (at top) faces downward, and his arms hang limply.  His feet can be seen on the adjoining block.
