DescriptionThis fragment from the 11th dynasty  temple of Nebhepetre Montuhotep at Deir el Bahari shows a man facing left, raising his arm before him.  Although the original location of this piece has not been determined, it may have formed part of one of the scenes on shipboard, where the man's upraised arm would suggest a sailor adjusting sails.
