DescriptionThe intricate pattern painted on this fragment from the 11th Dynasty Temple of Nebhepetre Montuhotep at Deir el Bahari may represent the weave of a basket of offerings.  It is possible that the piece should oriented differently, perhaps 180 degrees from the present image.
