DescriptionPart of a wooden tomb model of a type popular in undecorated tombs during the First Intermediate Period and Middle Kingdom. This wooden model of a slender jar has a rounded base, a short vertical neck, and a ledged rim. The body is painted cream.  On the top is a cone-shaped stopper painted black. There is an empty round hole (.5 cm diameter) for a dowel attachment on the base.
