DescriptionThis fragment formed part of the decoration of the 11th Dynasty Temple of Nebhepetre Montuhotep at Deir el Bahari.  Its original location within the complex is unknown.
A man faces right and follows a large fan, suggesting that he was part of a procession.  The angle of the fan and the distance of its shaft from the man would prevent him from behing the actual fan bearer.
