Description"I remained here for three weeks, and received much kindness and attention from the Manōmanees. Hearing that I was taking sketches of the most noted Indians in the camp, a fellow named Muck-a-ta paid me a visit. He was one of the most ill favoured
of any that had been the subjects of my pencil, and by all accounts his physiognomy did not belie his character." (Paul Kane, "Wanderings of an Artist," 1859:40–41)
