DescriptionEdmund Morris collected descriptions of the deeds which are published in "War Paint, Blackfoot and Sarcee Painted Buffalo Robes in the Royal Ontario Museum" (Brownstone 1993). Peter Erasmus, who was a Cree and Danish descent, translated the words of Calf Child from Cree into English. These were then transcribed by Morris into his diary.
