DescriptionBlue twin figure top hat headdress with multi-coloured beading that covers the entire surface of the piece. The rim is framed by rows of dark blue beads surrounding patterns of triangles that consist of either solid dark blue, green, white, or yellow beads. Such headdresses were used to dress ibeji figures and display the twin's association with the god Shango.
