DescriptionIvory divination tapper with incised linear motifs and rich golden patina. Divination tappers are used by diviners during the divination sessions to attract the attention of Ifa. This is done by striking the tapper on the divining tray at the beginning of the consultation as a way of summoning the deity to the event.
