DescriptionPair of man’s socks of wool, knit in argyle pattern in red, blue, green and brown. Visible signs of mending on each sock. Green, black and red thread used for mending. Worn as part of full Highland dress kilt outfit. Left sock has been mended at the heel, toe, ankle and leg opening with green, black and red thread.
