DescriptionThis face mask was designed by Uzbek artist, Dilyara Kaipova (b. 1967), during the COVID-19 pandemic. The artist worked with specialized weavers in Margilan, Uzbekistan, to produce the ikat-dyed cotton fabric using blue, yellow and burgundy aniline dyes.
