Three-tailed whip with leather handle and braided wrist wrap. This type of whip is a symbol of leadership in Asafo Companies and is worn during official occasions by generals and captains (safohens), both men and women, usually strung around the wrist. Whips are commissioned by local leather-workers and are often undecorated.
