DescriptionBenin style leopards are very popular productions in Foumban, and have been since the 1990s. They are produced in the many lost wax foundries of the Njinka quarter where a great number of Benin style artworks are produced. Usually sold in couples, they come in different styles and sizes, with smaller ones such as these intended for the international tourists' market, and larger pieces mostly purchased by hotels, commercial venues and elites in Cameroon and beyond to decorate their mansions. Coupled with 2015.12.6.2.
