DescriptionZhenwu is associated with the constellation of the Northern Dipper, and is shown with the symbolic animals of the North: a tortoise entwined by a snake. Seen as the 82nd transformation of Laozi, he was one of the most important deities of Daoism, closely associated with the emperor.
