DescriptionMade on light green translucent jade with brown clouding and calcification at one side, this fine polished sword pommel has sharp edges in regular round form. The top surface is concave or carved into a shallow conical depression with a small circular groove (with arc-scar to one side) in the centre. Its side walls slant inward. Underside slants obliquely toward light relief central circle in which is the usual deep circular groove for attachment, but there are no perforations. There are traces of earth from burying. 玉剑首 汉 直径 4.6、厚 0.9厘米 (Gu Fang)
