DescriptionA boy child lies in between two large leaves that were likely colored to make into appearance of an amber skin. The leaves are incised with veining and the edges serrated. The boy appears in round face resting his heads on the arms, and is clad in a loose suit with finely hatched sleeve-edge and a star pattern on his trousers. Of the Five Happiness of traditional China - a good marriage, sons, wealth, honour, and long life - perhaps the most important is sons, and the more the better.
