DescriptionIn their pursuit of a good life in paradise, Han people paid great attention to representations of kitchens and banquets in their tombs. The tomb was "alive" with activity. A stove, featuring pots, steamers, trays, dishes, cups, and other utensils, formed the centrepiece. Ceramic chickens, pigs and sheep were provided for the banquet, whereas ceramic dancers, acrobats and musicians, such as this "se"-player, provided entertainment.
