DescriptionThis print depicts kabuki actors Matsumoto Koshire V and Orino Isaburo II in character as two villians striking poses. Koshiro, with his arms folded has a small sickle tucked under his sleeve; Isaburo disguised as a pilgrim wears a yellow cape and straw hat, and carries a latern inscribed "nenbutsu" it is night and the sky is streaked with rain.
