DescriptionStair riser portrays musicians and dancers around an enthroned turban with crest piece and crown jewels, part of the future Buddha's renunciation and Great Departure in which Prince Siddhartha cuts off his hair and turban, regarded as the first relics left by the Buddha, which get enshrined in the gods' assembly hall and celebrated as symbolic of Siddhartha's decision to seek enlightenment.
