Description

Statue of Autumn

The figure is clad in a chiton (a fine tunic) fastened by a brooch on each shoulder. The Ionic sleeves are tied at intervals by smaller fastenings. The drapery is blown back in windswept folds. In the drapery folds in front, she holds a collection of fruit.
