DescriptionThe scabbard slide is made on mottled light green and grey-brown jade, which is semi-translucent with traces of calcification at edges and underside. It is slightly curved into a rectangular plate decorated with a winged and crested feline in low-round relief. Few elements of the fine decoration on the animal's body are now worn into near invisibility. Its left front claw is finely incised on one side of the plate. Slightly off-centre, its rectangular slot below has long edges bevelled on the outside. Incrustations inside the slot show traces of red pigment. (Gu Fang)
