DescriptionThe tripod and cylindrical cup is archaistic form of ornament, imitating a tradition of Han dynasty. It is finely fluted with a thin round loop handle. The cup has three antique form legs featuring taotie-style animal mask showing crest, in-curving horns, complex-leaf-shaped ears, feline eyes and jaw-curls. Its fine high polish has left faintest pitting inside and out. The cup has relatively thin loop and wall with flat base, leaving it plain.
