DescriptionSri Lankan Massa coin:  Obverse:  Standing male figure, head facing right, wearing dhoti. Stands on lotus stalk with flower to right topped by 5 spheres.  Proper left elbow curves down with hand up holding jasmine flower.  Proper right arm extended outwards, curving downwards holding ornamental lamp.  Two crescent shapes flank head.  40 - 43 beads at rim of coin.  Reverse:  Seated male figure on left.  Appears to have King name Sahasamalla:  Sri Ma t-sa ha sa ma lla.
