DescriptionSet of insignia badges for the front and back of the pufu (overcoat) of a 1st rank civil official (crane). Dark blue satin with silk floss embroidery in peking knot stitch with couched white cord outlining. Right-facing bird on mound in billows with buddhist symbols; clouds and bats on dark background; peonies and peaches grow on the sides. Border of bats and shou characters with gold edging. Front halves uncut.
