DescriptionSet of insignia badges for the front and back of a woman's pufu (overcoat); civil insignia of the 3rd degree with peacock. Brownish-black satin ground entirely covered with silk floss embroidered design in peking knot outlined with couched white cord, and background filled with couched gold thread. Left-facing bird on mound in wave border containing some buddhist symbols among clouds. Fret border of couched gold thread. Left and right halves of front insignia sewn together.
