DescriptionSet of insignia badges for the front and back of a pufu (overcoat) of a 5th rank civil official (silver pheasant). Silk tabby ground with dark blue warp, brown weft. Design embroidered with silk floss in peking knot outlined with couched white cord and gold thread. Right-facing bird on mound in billows with buddhist symbols and pearls; peaches and peonies on rocks at sides; clouds and bats above. Border of two variations of shou character.
