DescriptionSet of insignia badges for the front and back of a pufu (overcoat) of a 5th rank civil official, symbolized by a silver pheasant. Blue-black silk tabby embroidered with silk floss in peking knot and outlined with couched white cord. Bird outlined with couched blue cord. Left-facing bird on a mound in billows containing eight buddhist symbols; peaches and peonies growing from rocks at sides; clouds and bats above. Border of bats and shou characters; edging of couched gold thread.
