DescriptionSet of insignia for the front and back of the pufu (overcoat) of a 6th rank civil official (egret). Black silk tabby with weft-patterned design in dull yellow silk; bird embroidered with white silk in knot stitch and outlined with couched blue cord; legs of couched gold thread. Sun embroidered in tent stitch with red silk. Left-facing bird on mound in wave border with Taoist symbols in water and sky; bats and clouds above. Border of scrolls and lotus.
