DescriptionSet of insignia badges for the front and back of the pufu (overcoat) of the wife of a 2nd degree civil official (golden pheasant). Dark blue satin embroidered in satin stitch, knot stitch and couching. Right-facing bird on mound in wave border containing four buddhist symbols done in knot stitch. Pagoda and pine tree on rocks at the right, with a house and pine tree on rocks at the left. Clouds, bats, other buddhist symbols surround the bird. Border of elongated dragons and shou characters done in couched gold thread. Border edged with plaited braid.
