DescriptionInsignia badge for the front of the pufu (overcoat) of the son of a 2nd rank civil official (golden pheasant). Navy blue silk twill embroidered with silk floss in satin stitch. Left-facing bird on mound in billows with precious objects; peaches and peony growing from rocks at sides; cluster of clouds behind sun and one bat. Elongated fret border of couched gold thread. Front halves uncut.
