DescriptionInsignia badge for the front of the pufu (overcoat) of a 7th rank civil official (mandarin duck). Light blue satin completely covered with silk floss embroidery in satin stitch, stem stitch and couching. Left-facing bird on mound in green billows with precious objects against blue sky and clouds. Bound with black satin which has inner and outer edges bound in cream satin.
