Tiraz fragment with felicitous inscriptions. Four cursive (naskhi) inscription bands repeat the phrase: “Good fortune and prosperity.” The rope-like interlace of the decorative bands encloses pairs of birds and hares. The yellow silk ground imitates the more expensive gold-wrapped thread found in some other fragments.
