DescriptionThis oil flask (round aryballos) is decorated in black-figure technique with a panther and a bird. Amyx attributes it to the Herzogovina Painter, but Neeft considers it to be the work of the Scaglione Painter. It is dated to the Middle or Late Corinthian periods.
