It is of opaque mottled dark green and brown stone with large areas of calcification, possibly made by non-natural process. The disc has similar décor on both faces: two zones of decoration separated and bordered by narrow plain bands. Within the inner zone, incised lines create "basketry" pattern with lightly incised spirals in some of the diamond shaped divisions. At the outer border, a series of seemingly random curving grooves and four very faintly incised bovine type heads with bird heads to either side. It is form of imitating antiquity style.
