DescriptionThis lidded-pyxis (box) is decorated in added red yellow and white paint over the black-slip background. A vine-scroll with four leaves, tendrils and a bunch of grapes runs around the body of the pyxis. Around the domed lid (930.106.1.B) are dots and a spiral-wave pattern. The lid would once have had a disc-shaped knob which is now missing.
