DescriptionThis necklace consists of volute, lozenge, and triangular shaped beads decorated with petalled rosettes. Originally blue, these beads have weathered to white. Perhaps meant to imitate blue lapis lazuli these beads represent some of the earliest examples of glass making in Europe.
