DescriptionA perfect quilt of this type. The tiny patches are an inch across, and have been carefully selected so that patterns are made within patterns; several have wreaths of roses with each rose carefully centred, another has birds and butterflies used alternately, and in many cases strips have been cut to form a ring, or a radiating star. The donor found this quilt in the Barbados, and it was believed to have been made by the wife of a British naval captain who was stationed there.
