DescriptionSet of insignia badges for the front and back of the pufu (overcoat) of a 2nd rank civil official (golden pheasant). Blue-black satin embroidered with silk floss in satin stitch and couching. Left-facing bird in couched white silk with feathered outline with couched blue and green cord on mound in billows containing buddhist symbols. Peaches and peonies growing from rocks at sides; clouds and bats in sky above. Fret border of couched gold thread.
