DescriptionSet of insignia badges for the front and back of the pufu (overcoat) of a 4th rank civil official (goose). Blue-black satin embroidered with silk floss in satin stitch. Left-facing pale pink bird on mound in billows with buddhist symbols above blue striped lishui (deep water); background of clouds, bats, and fret design, all in shades of blue. Border of fret motif in couched gold thread and blue lotus.
