DescriptionRight and left halves of insignia badge for the front of the pufu (overcoat) of a 1st rank civil official (crane). Blue-black satin with silk floss embroidery in satin stitch, stem stitch and knot stitch with variations. Right-facing bird on mound in blue and green billows with precious objects. Multicoloured cloud and bats against background of trefoil motif in a variation of stem stitch in red, green and yellow. Narrow border of couched gold thread.
