DescriptionAfter it was woven on a treadle loom, the warp threads were decoratively knotted at both ends with a series of designs known as petatillo, puntas or florecitas, de malla and cuatro mallas. The making of the fringe (rapacejo or empuntado) is a separate skill from weaving, and is the final stage in rebozo production.
