This photograph is a studio portrait of a young man against a backdrop with arches and a staicase. The photograph is signed, "Your most obedient student Hari Singh of Bilara 29th Feb 1933". Bilara is a city and a municipality in Jodhpur district in the state of Rajasthan, India.

This photograph is part of a series of photographs dating from 1900-1990. Some are painted photographic prints, while others are small studio photographs.
