DescriptionAround the outside of the wine cup (Siana cup) is a repeated frieze showing four sets of horsemen, wearing white tunics, riding towards draped and bearded attendants. Behind each horseman flies a bird. On the circular tondo inside the cup is a naked crouching warrior wearing a helmet and carrying a sword and shield. This vase was attributed to the C Painter by Beazley.
