DescriptionThis textile is an example of an early drawloom weave. It has a design of two medallions with a pearl border, each with two highly stylized ducks facing each other. White design on a red ground (because the condition is better on the reverse, the textile has been mounted with the reverse showing). The textile is raw at all sides.
