DescriptionIn legend as in life, the charro (horseman) was equipped with handsome weaponry. Pita fibre (Aechmea magdalenae), sometimes called 'silk grass' in English, was used in colonial times for the embroidery of saddles and other items associated with charrería (horsemanship), including this belt and holster.
