Description

This juglet is one of the artifacts excavated at Jericho in the 1950's; It is from Tomb K2, an Early Bronze IA tomb used over a period of 300 years. Articles were placed in tombs along with the bodies of the deceased. This juglet may have been used in daily life and may have been filled with a liquid offering at the time of burial.
